Egyptian comedian Taha Desouky and OSN+, the region’s leading streaming service for premium entertainment, have launched the latest video in the multi-series, digital-first campaign, ‘No More FOMO’, directed by Omar El Zohairy. Each unique piece in the series tackles a different scenario depicting those awkward moments when you’re ‘out of the loop’ with a trending series.
Launched last month with Saudi Arabian actress Aseel Omran, OSN+ has collaborated with influential Arab celebrities for the campaign, which features an original song humorously depicting the dreaded FOMO effect of missing out on the latest content, while reminding viewers of OSN+ that they will never have to miss another moment when on the platform.
In this latest installment, Desouky finds himself trying to avoid spoilers while sitting backstage with his friends as they begin talking about the latest drop from a hit series. Desouky is then seen bursting out the original song created for the campaign, which so far has garnered more than 44 million views with leading content creators showcasing their own ‘FOMO’ moments.
“With OSN+, fans get an instant fix at the same time as the US, so they will never have to miss another moment,” said Ashley Rite, VP of Marketing and Growth at OSN+. “With new series launching for Ramadan and returns of popular, must-see content such as Succession, with OSN+ everyone can avoid FOMO and watch what they’re missing.”
The premium campaign was shot by multi-talented Egyptian director Omar El Zohairy, who has won multiple awards including the Grand Prize of the International Critics’ Week at the 2021 Cannes Film Festival and has become known for his funny yet high end engaging adverts.
